El New York Times, en un artículo publicado el 25 de julio de 2019 titulado Cries of protest from acrobats, singers, dancers and divers, menciona la creatividad de los puertorriqueños durante el verano de julio 2019.

Las imagenes presentadas en esta galeria formaron parte del proyecto de Instagram #RickyTeBote desarrollado por la bibliotecaria puertorriqueña Jeanmary Lugo. Actualmente el proyecto se encuentra recopilando imagenes relacionadas a las protestas exigiendo la renuncia de la actual gobernadora de Puerto Rico, Wanda Vázquez.

The various protests that framed the resignation of Ricardo Roselló in Puerto Rico surprised the entire world with the creative way to promote a message. The New York Times, in an article published on July 25, 2019 titled Cries of protest from acrobats, singers, dancers and divers, mentions the creativity of Puerto Ricans during the summer of July 2019.

The images presented in this gallery were part of the Instagram project #RickyTeBote developed by the Puerto Rican librarian Jeanmary Lugo. They can access the Instgram account with the following link #RickyTeBote. Currently the project is collecting images related to the protests demanding the resignation of the current governor of Puerto Rico, Wanda Vázquez.
