  Joel A. Blanco Rivera

  Joel A. Blanco-Rivera is a professor at the Escuela Nacional de Conservación, Restauración y Museografía in Mexico City, where he teaches for the Maestría en Conservación de Acervos Documentales. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Science in Information from the University of Michigan. His research interests are archival theory in the digital context, web and social media archiving, and digital documentation of social and political events.

     

  Marisol Ramos

  Marisol Ramos was the Digital Scholarship/ Humanities and Social Sciences Librarian at UConn Library. Currently, she is the Research & Engagement Librarian for Latin American & Iberian Studies at the UCSB Library at the University of California—Santa Barbara. She has a B.A in Anthropology from the University of Puerto Rico, an M.A. in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from SUNY-Albany and an M.L.I.S from UCLA. Currently, she is a doctoral student at the Literatures, Cultures and Languages Department at UConn. Her research interests include Cosmopolitism, gender representation, and nation building in 19th century Puerto Rican literature; Access to cultural heritage archives; and the social construction of archives.

  Irmarie Fraticelli-Rodriguez

  Irmarie Fraticelli-Rodríguez is pursuing a master's degree in Information Science at the University of Michigan. She is part of the 2019-2021 ARL/SAA Mosaic Program cohort. Currently, Irmarie is a graduate intern at the Special Collection Research Center and the Digital Preservation Unit at UMICH. Previously, Irmarie earned a BA in Spanish Studies and History of the Americas from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras. There, Irmarie worked at the Puerto Rican Collection and developed an interest in archival studies, digital humanities, and information retrieval. Her research focuses on Digital Curation and Data Analysis, as a future archivist, Irmarie aspires to help under- and misrepresented communities gain access to their heritage.
  
   

  Eduardo Beltrán-Feliciano

  Eduardo Beltran completed a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico, a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico, and is a Certified Red Hat System Administrator. He has interests in the areas of mathematics, cyber security, science of information, and machine learning. He is an advocate of the implementation of the Resource Description Framework to develop machine learning compatible public datasets.
